It's been 12 years since my own diagnosis with MS, sometimes it feels like ages and others like it was yesterday.  Being diagnosed with an incurable illness is scary enough, but when there is no predictable day to day path battling this illness can be overwhelming.

People are afflicted on different levels, some with visible effects and some with fatigue and pain that can not be seen.  Though treatment options are available on a more broad spectrum now, we are still only treating symptoms and trying to delay further disability.

The National MS Society provides support on may levels to those who may have no other avenue.  With their work in advocacy, education and research coupled with many other resources they provide, there is hope and light even in the darkest of times.

On August 23rd 2024, we hope to fill our field and finish the day with a Lobster Bake honoring those we care about who battle this disease as well as champion all of you who join us for play and to raise funds for such a great organization.
